CS Duale: There are enough resources for floods
Duale said Kenha had already fixed the Garissa-Nairobi road while also working round the clock to restore normalcy in other parts of the country that had their roads damaged.
Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has said the government has enough resources to cater to flood victims.
Speaking on Sunday after the assessment of roads damaged recently, Duale noted that Kenya Defence Forces have been fully involved in rescue operations as well as delivery of food and medical supplies.

"Floods have had devastating effects on our infrastructure, have had impacts on movement, it has also affected health as water-borne diseases have emerged," said the CS.
Duale said Kenha had already fixed the Garissa-Nairobi road while also working round the clock to restore normalcy in other parts of the country that had their roads damaged.
Duale said restoring infrastructure is critical because it also limits the movement of relief supplies to affected areas.
"KDF has far airlifted 600 tonnes of food, medical supplies, and non-food items to areas affected by floods including Mandera, Isiolo, Tana River, and other areas," he said.
The CS said the Kenya Kwanza government is committed to ensuring no Kenyan dies over El Nino and floods, adding that all government agencies have been activated towards taking part in mitigations.
The defence CS also noted that all security agencies are on high alert for any possible terror attacks.
"Despite all our efforts to ensure floods do not impact our people, we are also on high alert to ensure no terror attacks in Kenya," he said.
